I am a J.L. Doob research assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Professors Vera Hur and Jared Bronski are my mentors.

I obtain my PhD in mathematics from Indiana University under the supervision of Prof. Kevin Zumbrun. Here is my resume. See me on Researchgate.

My graduate research mainly focuses on the existence and stability of traveling wave solutions to nonlinear partial differential equations (PDE) arising from fluid dynamics, detonation and combustion models. In particular, stability of Dressler's roll waves and hydraulic shock profiles to the inviscid Saint-Venant equations, stability of Richard-Gavrilyuk roll waves, stability of strong detonation waves of inviscid Majda's model with general ignition function, stability of degenerate profiles.
