I am a J.L. Doob research assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Professors Vera Hur and Jared Bronski are my mentors.

I obtain my PhD in mathematics from Indiana University under the supervision of Prof. Kevin Zumbrun. Here is my resume. See me on Researchgate.

My research mainly focuses on the existence and stability of traveling wave solutions to nonlinear partial differential equations (PDE) arising from fluid dynamics, detonation and combustion models. In particular, stability of roll waves and hydraulic shock profiles in an inclined channel, stability of detonation waves, stability of free surface water waves (Stokes wave, gravity-capillary waves, and Wilton ripples), etc.
